PROPOSALS ARE DUE December 31, 2023.
The Arkansas Museums Association is planning its 2024 Annual Conference, which will be hosted by the United States Marshals Museum on March 25-27, 2024. The goal of the conference is to support and foster the museum community through a mix of speakers as well as workshops, practical and informative presentations, in-depth discussions, and examples of projects and initiatives that are relevant to museums in Arkansas. Arkansas Museum Association members take ownership in the conference experience as presenters, speakers, panelists, facilitators, and workshop leaders.
This year, the AMA conference theme is "Protect and Conserve" Through the past two years our organizations have faced countless challenges and changes, obliging us to reexamine our numerous roles and responsibilities both as professionals and institutions. While we encourage proposals that reflect that concept, it is not a requirement for submission.
Please read all guidelines thoroughly before submitting your proposal!
Proposals are due by December 31, 2023. Members of the AMA Professional Development Committee will review all submissions and notify presenters after January 10, 2024.
