Black History Commission News

“Profiles in Arkansas Black History,” a workshop sponsored by the Black History Commission of Arkansas and the Arkansas History Commission will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. This year’s theme is “Teaching African American History in Arkansas Schools: The Current Reality.”  The deadline for sign-up is June 2nd.
