Pioneer Village will hold their annual Spring Fest on May 2 and May 3.
All the Village buildings will be open for viewing. Various out buildings from the farm as well as farm tools, farming equipment, and tractors will also be on display Come hear the story of the each building and how it is a part of White County History.
Volunteers in period costume will answer questions as well as demonstrate various pioneer crafts, including blacksmithing, spinning, quilting, wood working, Dutch oven cooking and more.
Antique tractors and toy trains will be on display.
Lots of live music and square dancing throughout the day. You just might get to take a square dancing lesson or two!
Other crafters will be selling goat milk soaps and lotions, books, duck call, bird houses, wooden bowls and bracelets, cloth dolls, and more.
Food and refreshments as well as Kettle Corn will be available.
There will be Pioneer games and activities for children. Live farm animals and their babies will also be at the Village.
The hours are Saturday, May 2 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, May 3 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The village is located at 1200 Higginson Street, Searcy.
Admission and parking are free. Donations are accepted.
